Zak Penn on Young X-Men and X-Men 4 Friday March 7th, 2008 Entertainment website Collider.com has an exclusive video interview with "X-Men: The Last Stand" screenwriter Zak Penn. In the second part of an interview promoting Penn's new movie "The Grand", he reveals that the rumored "Young X-Men" spin-off is still on the slate: "Theoretically that still will happen, you know. They're waiting until "Wolverine" comes out before they make those decisions, but the idea is there and it's been pitched and I would do it if they wanted me to do it." When asked whether or not he had heard anything about a recent interview in which X-Producer Lauren Shuler Donner allegedly stated that an "X-Men 4" was going ahead, he responded: "Nope, I have not.
